Reiki means “universal life energy.” Everything and everyone in the universe is made of and connected by energy. Imagine that your body has a free flowing river of energy moving through it. Over time, pebbles or rocks can fall into the river, restricting its flow. These pebbles represent our worries, doubts, fears, etc. As more pebbles and rocks fall in, the once free-flowing river slows down to a trickle. Energy flow can become so blocked that it can be experienced as physical symptoms.

Reiki is a gentle, safe, and non-invasive holistic energy healing modality that supports your overall well-being by restoring balance to the mind, body, and spirit. Hospitals, clinics, and hospices across the world, including the US, Australia, UK, Canada, and EU are using reiki as complementary therapy that integrates well with conventional therapies to support patient well-being and improve patient care.

Reiki uses universal energy to support the body’s innate healing abilities. During reiki, practitioners access this energy and allow it to flow through the body to facilitate healing.

All of our reiki sessions are given DISTANTLY. Reiki can be sent at a distance because energy has no boundaries. Think of a cell phone. You don’t have to be in physical proximity to a caller to talk to them because cell phones use electromagnetic radio waves to connect with other cell phones. Similarly, reiki practitioners don’t have to be in physical proximity to their client in order to send reiki. We are all connected by energy. You can receive reiki without leaving the comfort of your home and continue as usual with your daily life. Reiki goes directly to the source of the problem and always works for your highest good, no matter where you are.

When you book a session, you will have the option of choosing a date that you’d like to receive reiki. On that chosen date, Inner Fire Studio will send distant reiki to the person, place, and/or business of your choice. You don’t have to do anything after a session is booked.

Anything you experience is normal. Some people don’t experience anything at all. Some people notice a difference the next day, a few days later, or even a week later. Some people are more sensitive to energy than others. Everyone benefits from reiki whether or not they can sense the energy. As long as you accept and are open to receiving the reiki being sent to you, you will benefit from it.

Animals are very intuitive and much more sensitive to energy than humans. They respond well to reiki. Reiki can be used to heal an animal’s mind, body, and spirit.

Places such as your home and business can collect stagnant, stuck, and negative energy from previous occupants, family, friends, visitors, employees, colleagues, and clients. Reiki works on places to cleanse the energy of the entire home or business, and replace it with harmonious, life-nourishing energy. It can also be thought of as a house blessing.
